Efflorescence is a crystalline deposit of salts that can form when water is present in or on brick, concrete, stone or other building surfaces.
It has a white or greyish tint and can also appear as a powdery substance, which consists of salt deposits left behind when water evaporates.
Efflorescence can be removed by using specialist solutions found at most good hardware stores
*Please note that scrubbing or using high pressure hoses to remove efflorescence may cause damage to your sleepers and is not recommended by OSA
